Terms of Use
These terms apply to the AI Coach 50+ app and this website, both provided by Lantern Lane Ventures LLC ("we," "us"). By using the app or the website, you agree to these terms. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply.
What the app is
AI Coach 50+ is an educational app that teaches you how to use AI helpers made by other companies. The app itself does not contain an AI helper.
For learning, not professional advice
The lessons are general education. They are not medical, legal, financial, tax or insurance advice. AI helpers can make mistakes, so always check important information with a qualified professional or an official source, as the lessons explain.
Other companies' AI helpers
When you use an AI helper such as Claude or ChatGPT, you are using that company's service under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI or any other AI company, and we are not responsible for their services, their availability, their prices or what they say.
Purchases
- Module 1 is free.
- Lifetime ($39.99, one payment) unlocks Modules 1 to 6 for as long as we offer the app, on the App Store or Google Play account you used to buy it. Lifetime members get 75% off add-on modules.
- Monthly ($9.99 a month) unlocks Modules 1 to 6 while your subscription is active. It renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account. You can cancel anytime in your account's subscription settings; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Add-on modules (such as Scams and Safety) are one-time purchases of $5.99 each, or $1.49 for Lifetime members.
Prices are in US dollars and may differ in other countries. We may change prices for future purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. You can restore your purchases on a new phone with "Restore my purchases" in the app, using the same store account.
Using the app
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for your own learning. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the lessons, or try to get around the app's purchase system. The lessons, design and the Lantern Lane and AI Coach 50+ names belong to Lantern Lane Ventures LLC.
Changes to the app
We may update the app, add or change lessons, or fix mistakes. If we ever stop offering the app, we will give notice in the app where we reasonably can.
No warranty
We work hard to make the lessons accurate and helpful, but the app and website are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Lantern Lane Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information from the app or from an AI helper. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
